Purpose-Built Electric Vehicles
Beyond prime movers, the SHACMAN electric chassis range supports vocational bodies for construction, municipal services and distribution — from 65-tonne mining tippers to 3-tonne light-duty trucks.
Vehicles available today
Vocational vehicles spend much of their working life at low speed, stopping frequently or operating auxiliary equipment on site. That profile is where an electric drivetrain performs best — no idling, high torque from rest, and markedly lower noise.
Dump Truck · 10 Wheel
X5000E 6×4 swap/charging tipper for quarry and mining haulage. Rear battery swapping with the Western Intelligence swap system keeps the vehicle working across shifts.
Dump Truck · 12 Wheel
X5000E 8×4 swap/charging tipper for the heaviest mining and earthworks duty, rated up to 90 tonnes gross with the same swappable battery architecture.
Refuse Compactor · 6 Wheel
Built on the L5000 4×2 chassis with a 10 m³ arc-shaped rear-loading body, PLC automatic control and bidirectional compression at 16 MPa.
Cargo Truck · 10 Wheel
H3000S pure-electric 6×4 cargo chassis with a 352 kWh LFP pack and 14,600 kg rated load — a single-unit alternative to a tractor-trailer for regional distribution.
Light-Duty Truck · 4 Wheel
A compact 3-tonne-class 4×2 electric truck for dense urban multi-drop work, with a 6.2 m turning radius for tight streets and loading bays.
Other Vocational Bodies
Mixer, sweeper, water and sprinkler tanker, suction sewer scavenger, hooklift and terminal tractor configurations can be built on the SHACMAN electric chassis range with our body-builder partners.

From specification to delivery
Duty-cycle review
We record how the vehicle is actually used — daily distance, working hours, auxiliary loads and idle time — before sizing anything.
Chassis & battery sizing
Chassis configuration and battery capacity are matched to the body weight and the energy the equipment will draw during a shift.
Body integration
Body building and high-voltage power take-off integration are carried out with our partners, with safety validation before handover.
Delivery & training
Handover includes driver and technician training, charging setup and a service plan through the PANUS nationwide network.
Have a specific application in mind?
Tell us what the vehicle needs to do. We will come back with a chassis configuration, battery sizing and an indicative timeline.
Power for Your Fleet
An electric truck is only as good as the infrastructure behind it. We design, install and support depot charging sized to your routes, your shift pattern and your available grid capacity.
Match the charger to the shift, not the other way round
Most fleets need a mix. Overnight AC charging is the cheapest energy you will buy; DC fast charging exists to protect the schedule when a vehicle has to turn around inside the working day.
Depot AC Charging
- Charges a full pack across a standard overnight window
- Lowest installed cost and the smallest grid connection
- Ideal for fixed-route vehicles that return to base each night
- Scheduled charging to shift load into off-peak tariff hours
DC Fast Charging
- Approximately 1.5–2.0 hours to 80% state of charge
- Dual-gun units let one cabinet serve two vehicles
- Power sharing across bays to stay inside the site limit
- The standard choice for mixed depot fleets
High-Power Charging
- Turnaround measured in tens of minutes, not hours
- Liquid-cooled cables for sustained high current
- For multi-shift operations and port or terminal duty
- Requires a dedicated transformer and grid study

How a depot gets built
Site assessment
We survey the depot, review the existing supply capacity and map where vehicles park and for how long.
Design & grid application
Charger mix, layout and cable routing are designed, and the utility application is prepared and submitted on your behalf.
Installation & commissioning
Civil works, electrical installation and commissioning are carried out by certified contractors, with full testing before handover.
Operation & support
Remote monitoring, preventive maintenance and a service-level agreement keep the site available once it is running.
What determines your charging plan
Available grid capacity
The existing supply usually decides what is possible on day one. We check it first, because it drives both cost and timeline.
Electricity tariff structure
Time-of-use tariffs and demand charges can outweigh the unit rate. Scheduled charging is where most of the saving is found.
Dwell time, not distance
How long a vehicle sits still matters more than how far it drives. Long dwell means slower, cheaper chargers will do.
Load management
Dynamic power sharing lets more vehicles charge from the same connection without breaching the site limit.
Redundancy
A spare bay and a maintenance agreement keep the operation running when a unit is out of service.
Future headroom
Ducting and switchgear are sized for the fleet you expect, not just the vehicles you are buying now.
Planning charging for your depot?
Send us your site details and duty cycles. We will return an indicative charger mix, grid requirement and deployment timeline.
Prime Mover
The 6×4 line-haul tractor. 50.5 tonnes gross, 410 kW peak, four CATL battery sizes and a swappable pack.
One tractor, four energy sizes
The X5000e Prime Mover is the configuration most Thai fleets start with. The same chassis, cab and drivetrain carry four different battery packs, so the vehicle can be specified for a 170 km shuttle or a 400 km corridor run without changing anything else. When the route outgrows the pack, the battery can be swapped rather than the truck replaced.

Images are representative of the model series. Cabin trim and equipment vary by specification.
Built for the long haul
Swappable battery
A depleted pack is exchanged rather than charged, so a second shift starts immediately instead of waiting on a charging window.
Four pack sizes
282, 400, 500 and 600 kWh on one chassis — energy matched to the route instead of carried as dead weight.
410 kW / 2,400 N·m
TZ400XS033 permanent-magnet motor with liquid cooling, pulling 50.5 t at up to 20% gradeability.
Two-berth sleeper
High-roof cab with air-suspended driver seat, electric cab tilt and climate control that runs without idling.
EBS + ESC
Electronic braking with stability control, and a 24 m turning circle for terminal and yard work.

Where it earns its keep
Inter-regional corridors
Bangkok to the Eastern Seaboard, the North and the South on 500 or 600 kWh packs, with depot charging at both ends.
Container drayage
Short, dense turnarounds where battery swapping keeps the unit working across two or three shifts a day.
Plant-to-plant shuttles
Fixed routes between production sites, where the 282 or 400 kWh pack covers a full day and charges overnight.
See the X5000e Prime Mover in person
We will bring a unit to your depot and model the total cost of ownership against the diesel tractors you run today.
Rigid Chassis
A 6×4 and 8×4 rigid platform for cargo bodies, tippers and specialised superstructures, built on the same electric drivetrain as the flagship tractor.
The flagship drivetrain, without the trailer
Not every operation suits a tractor-trailer. The X5000e rigid chassis takes the same cab and high-voltage architecture and puts it under a body you specify — tipper, cargo box, tanker or a purpose-built superstructure. Dump-truck configurations are already in production in 6×4 and 8×4, with rear battery swapping for mining and quarry duty.

Images are representative of the model series. Cabin trim and equipment vary by specification.
Made for the body on top
Body-builder ready
Chassis rails and electrical take-off prepared for tipper, cargo, tanker and hooklift conversions through our partner network.
Rear battery swap
The dump configurations use the Western Intelligence swap system, so a quarry cycle is not interrupted by charging.
430 kW peak
TZ380XS030 motor rated 290 / 430 kW, geared through a 6E240-QH50 transmission for heavy off-highway duty.
Heavy axles
HD 9.5 t front and HD 16 t double rear on an 8.88 ratio, on 12.00R20 or 12.00R24 tyres.
Same cab as the tractor
Air-suspended seat, electric cab tilt and air conditioning carry over from the prime mover.
Configured per project
Battery sizing and chassis layout follow a duty-cycle review rather than a fixed price list.

Typical configurations
Tipper / dump body
Quarry and earthworks haulage at up to 90 tonnes gross, with battery swapping instead of downtime.
Cargo and box bodies
Single-unit distribution where a tractor-trailer is more vehicle than the route needs.
Tanker and equipment bodies
Water, mixer and vacuum superstructures powered from the high-voltage system rather than an auxiliary engine.
Have a body in mind?
Tell us what the vehicle has to carry and how it works through the day. We will come back with a chassis layout, battery sizing and a timeline.
Prime Mover
The cost-focused 6×4 tractor. Same 410 kW drivetrain as the flagship, an 8-year battery warranty and 25% gradeability.
Every baht works harder
The H3000Se carries the same motor, the same gross combination weight and a longer battery warranty than the flagship, at a lower cost of entry. It gives up outright range — 240 to 300 km rather than 400 — which is exactly the trade a fleet running fixed routes back to a depot should be willing to make.

Images are representative of the model series. Cabin trim and equipment vary by specification.
Where the money goes further
8-year battery warranty
A 4,000-cycle BYD pack with the longest warranty in the range — the single biggest lever on lifetime cost.
25% gradeability
Higher climbing capability than the flagship, which matters on ramps, yards and hilly regional work.
Lower cost of entry
The same 410 kW drivetrain and 50.5 t capability at a lower purchase price than the X5000e.
Depot-cycle range
240 to 300 km covers a fixed-route day and recharges overnight on depot AC.
Familiar platform
Built on the H3000 chassis Thai operators and workshops already know, which shortens driver and technician adaptation.
Zero tailpipe emissions
No local NOx or particulates — material inside ports, plants and urban delivery zones.

Where it earns its keep
Container drayage
Laem Chabang and inland depots, where the round trip is known and the vehicle sleeps on a charger.
Cement and steel movements
Heavy, repetitive regional runs that reward torque and gradeability over outright range.
Plant-to-plant shuttles
Fixed industrial-estate routes where overnight AC charging alone covers the duty cycle.
Run the numbers on the H3000Se
Send us a typical week of routes. We will model energy demand, charging windows and cost per kilometre against your current fleet.
Cargo Chassis
A 10-wheel 6×4 cargo chassis with a 352 kWh pack and 14,600 kg rated load — a single-unit alternative to a tractor-trailer.
One vehicle instead of two
For regional distribution that never needs to drop a trailer, a rigid chassis is simpler to run, easier to park and cheaper to license. The H3000S carries 14.6 tonnes on a 352 kWh pack, climbs 30% and comes as a bare chassis ready for the body your operation actually needs.

Built around the payload
14,600 kg rated load
A 25-tonne GVM chassis with axle loads distributed 7,000 / 18,000 kg fully laden.
30% gradeability
The steepest climbing figure in the range, on a 270 / 410 kW ZHIDE permanent-magnet motor.
352 kWh LFP
A single large pack sized for a 200 km distribution day without a mid-shift top-up.
H3000E standard cab
Day-cab layout with the driver comfort package carried over from the tractor.
Supplied as a chassis
Box, curtainside, refrigerated and tail-lift conversions are built with our Thai body-builder partners.
10-wheel stability
6×4 on 315/60R22.5 tyres with 5-leaf rear suspension for loaded ride quality.

Where it earns its keep
Regional cargo
Depot-to-depot runs inside a 200 km radius, carrying close to 15 tonnes on a single unit.
Store replenishment
Box or curtainside bodies serving retail networks where trailer manoeuvring is impractical.
Refrigerated bodies
Electric drive removes engine idling at the loading bay, and reefer power can be drawn from the vehicle.
Need a rigid rather than a tractor?
Tell us the payload, the body and the daily distance. We will confirm whether the 352 kWh chassis fits the duty cycle.
Rigid Chassis
A 4×2 medium-duty electric chassis for urban distribution and municipal bodies — 15 t GVW, over 100 km/h and 230 km of range.
The chassis behind the city fleet
Urban work is where electric drive pays back fastest: every stop returns energy through the brakes, routes are short and predictable, and low noise opens delivery and collection windows a diesel vehicle cannot legally use. The L5000 is the platform under our cargo, refrigerated and municipal bodies, including the 6-wheel EV compactor.

Images are representative of the model series. Cabin trim and equipment vary by specification.
Sized for the last leg
230 km and 100 km/h
Enough range for a full urban or municipal shift, with the top speed to move between districts on the highway.
FAST 4E120 AMT
A four-speed automated transmission keeps the 105 / 175 kW motor efficient under load and on gradients.
Clean in city zones
Zero tailpipe emissions keep the vehicle compliant as urban air-quality policy tightens.
Quiet enough for night work
Low drive-by noise allows early-morning collection rounds and late deliveries in residential areas.
Double-layer frame
870 × 250 (7+4) mm rails prepared for compactor, sprinkler, tanker, box and refrigerated bodies.
Fast payback
High daily utilisation and low energy cost per kilometre shorten the return on the price premium.

Build Thailand’s Electric Fleet
The Panus group builds commercial vehicles in Chonburi — trucks, trailers, airport ground support equipment and defence platforms. The electric truck programme is one of the newest parts of that business.
What the work looks like
Electrifying heavy commercial vehicles in Thailand is early-stage work. The problems are real, the customers are demanding, and the decisions you make show up on a vehicle that has to earn its keep every day.
Real manufacturing
Vehicles are assembled and serviced at our Chonburi facility — not specified from a distance.
New technology
High-voltage systems, battery management and charging infrastructure, applied to trucks that work at 50 tonnes.
Broad business
Commercial vehicles, aviation ground support and defence sit under one roof, so careers can move sideways as well as up.
Long-horizon partner
A global partnership with SHACMAN and four decades of Thai manufacturing behind the programme.
Where people join
We do not always have a posted vacancy in every area. If your experience fits one of these, we would still like to hear from you.
Service & workshop
EV-certified technicians, high-voltage safety, diagnostics and mobile response across the service network.
Vehicle & body engineering
Chassis integration, vocational body engineering and charging infrastructure design.
Sales & fleet solutions

About Cookies
How this website uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them.
Please have this reviewed before launch. The technical description below reflects the site exactly as it is built today. If the live site adds analytics, a chat widget or embedded content, sections 2 and 3 must be updated before those go live. A Thai legal adviser should review the wording for PDPA compliance.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over time, and to understand how the site is being used.
2. How we use them
As published on the date above, this website does not set any cookies of its own. It carries no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and it does not store information in your browser between visits. Nothing you do on this site is remembered after you close the page.
Should that change — for example if we add website analytics, a saved-configuration feature or an enquiry account — this page will be updated before those cookies are introduced. The categories below explain what each type would be used for:
- Strictly necessary. Required for the site to work at all — for example keeping a form submission secure, or remembering whether you are viewing the Thai or English version. These cannot be switched off, because the site cannot function without them.
- Functional. Remember choices you make so the site behaves consistently — a selected model, a battery capacity, or a filter you applied on the products page. Declining these does not break the site; it simply forgets your preferences each visit.
- Analytics. Count visits and show us which pages are read, which vehicles are compared and where visitors leave, so we can improve the site. These are aggregated and are not used to identify you personally.
- Marketing. We do not use advertising, retargeting or social media tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share browsing data with advertising networks. If this ever changes, we will ask for your consent first.
3. Third-party cookies
This site does not embed advertising networks, social media widgets or video players, so no third-party cookies are set through those services.
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Google does not set cookies for this, but the request does disclose your IP address and browser to Google. Their handling of that data is governed by Google’s own privacy policy.
Where this site links to other companies in the Panus group and its affiliates, those are separate websites operating under their own cookie and privacy policies. Once you follow such a link, this policy no longer applies — please read the policy of the site you arrive at.
